Here is our Payment and Deliveries policy for your info:

EQUIPMENTSIZE/SUITABILITY FOR VENUE/AVAILABLE SPACE

It is the customers responsibility to ensure the equipment will fit in the intended area without rubbing or coming into contact with other surfaces that may damage the equipment. The customer is required to send us images of the access through to the area where the equipment will be located. We will where possible send reminders to request an image of the area, but the responsibility lay with the customer. If the customer has failed to provide us images of the area and not given us opportunity to assess if the equipment will fit, and we arrive to supply and the equipment will not fit, full payment is still required. However in balance, if we have been supplied images and we have determined it will fit, and it does not on the day, we will not only issue a full refund but would agree to provide a free party to the same value as compensation as customer guarantee.

POWER REQUIREMENTS

All hires are powered via mains power electric as standard, we will supply any extension leads required. We need to be within a maximum 40m reach of the power socket for the leads to reach etc

We will not operate from generators without express agreement prior to the hire whereby all the requirements surrounding the use of generators have been addressed with both parties. There will always be an additional and substantial price increase to use generators, which is why mains power electric is the most cost effective and efficient method for the customer.

With regards to generator usage, we appriciate you may be able to hire generators more cheaply elsewhere on occasion, however we just wish to make clear that should issues arise with the inflatables not being operational during the hire period due to the generator not working as intended if not provided by ourselves, we cant in anyway be held responsible.

To explain the reasons why, it is through past bad experiences over the years. For instance - if you hire a generator elsewhere, we arrive & hook up and it wont work/power the inflatables properly, a negative situation occurs whereby the customer then does not wish to pay us/or wishes us to refund as the item hasn't worked, even though no fault of our own etc.

When we supply the generator we can then guarantee we know it is of the correct tested power output and in full working order suitable for the task required & if it were to break down we would get a replacement delivered immediately etc

If your generator will not work and we are unable to complete the set up you will be liable for the full cost of hire.

PAYMENTS

Our business can only accept limited work each day, therefore we require:

  • Full payment is liable if the hire date is within one month of the date the booking is made.
  • If outside of one month we ask for a 25% deposit and the final payment is due one month before the hire date. Customers have made clear they feel more comfortable paying the final balance on the day, which we are happy to accommodate to show good faith/maintain good customer relations on our part, but please remember this still means the full balance is due one month before the hire.
  • All deposits and full payments payments after becoming due as per above are non refundable, however if the booking can't go ahead on the hire date due to bad weather, illness or any reason not due to us, we will offer to transfer the booking to another date. If you are not willing to accept another date your funds will be lost. If booking has to be rearranged to another date it must be at a date/times that doesn't conflict with other bookings etc
  • For those customer choosing to pay the balance on the day, rather than clear one month before as per T&C's, if payment is not supplied to driver immediately on arrival the equipment may be withheld. If payment is not received 8% annual interest may be added to the what then becomes a debt and interest applied daily.
  • by confirming your booking in writing &/or making payment you accept these T&C's

To Specify what will lead to a weather cancellation/postponement etc:

  • If the Met Office shows wind gusts during the hire period greater than 24mph &/or constant rain. This is the limit the health & safety executive set as the threshold for inflatable hire. If any inflatable hire company were to place equipment out on hire when the forecast showed the wind level above that limit all insurance cover would be void and it would be placing people at risk. Fun Times will not go against the rules set by the health and safety executive and are terms reflect this.
  • If a hire requires to be postponed due to wind/rain conditions please do not then decide to abuse our staff by demanding your deposit/booking back when our terms above clearly state this wont occur. So if you are not happy to accept the only offer will be a date transfer, should unsafe weather as per above occur, please do not book with us. We will always place safety of our customers and staff ahead of profit. Clearly it is our aim as a business to get equipment out on hire, so we wouldn't make any postponement decision unless it was needed,
  • It is as much the customers responsibility to monitor weather as our own. If you are aware of potential bad weather it is your responsibility to reach out to us to make alternative plans. We are monitoring weather in many different geographical areas, so your support in this area makes for a much more productive outcome when dealing with bad weather circumstances.

HOME GARDEN DELIVERIES

Deliveries take place between 8:00 and 12:00, and collections start from 17:00 (5 hour minimum hire guaranteed etc).

After 5pm we will charge additional to keep our staff out later to collect the equipment - this will be made clear and agreed upon booking if requested etc.

Please appreciate that in some instances, multiple people may want to have the same delivery time. In these instances, the best we can do is to go around the quickest route to all deliveries, to ensure everyone gets their product delivered as early as possible.

You can however request specific times, and we may charge to fulfil the request if it means going outside of our best planned route to fulfil your request.

We won't know your exact delivery times until the day or so before when our route in finalised - you must contact us of you wish to know the exact times etc

There will be occasions where we will agree in writing hires that fall outside of these times, however as a norm if a late collection is requested we may request on the £50 overnight fee being paid so we may collect the following day etc - but this would be confirmed in communications if this is the case.

HALL - VENUE PARTIES

For bouncy castle only parties we will require 30mins before start time and 30min after finish time for setting up & packing away

Anything larger than just a bouncy castle, such as a Party package, Rodeo or photo booth we ask for 60mins either side

The rodeo bulls and photobooths we require an hour either side
